⚠ Proper Care and Handling of Magnets - Out patent pending storm grip comes with neodymium rare earth magnets. We spared no expense and all our storm grips come with the highest grade N52 neodymium magnets that are extremely strong for the best stability and consistency in your shoot.
While handling the grip and replacing angle wedges you must handle them with care to avoid injury and or damage. Fingers can get severely pinched between to attracting magnets or the grip parts, neodymium magnets are brittle and can peel, crack or shatter if allowed to slam together, make sure your fingers are always out of the connecting surfaces area and stay protected. neodymium magnets don’t take kindly machining, never try to use machining or tools on neodymium magnets. Never heat or burn neodymium magnets as it will create toxic fumes.
⚠ Magnetic Fields - Never allow neodymium magnets near a person with a pacemaker or similar medical devices. The strong magnetic fields can affect the operation of such devices. The strong magnetic fields of these magnets can damage magnetic media including but not limited to floppy discs, credit cards, magnetic ID cards, cassette, video tape and similar items, memory cards, and other electronics, never place the storm grip near any of these items.
⚠ WARNING!!! Choking Hazard - Children should not be allowed to handle neodymium magnets, they are not a toy and small magnets are a risk of a choking hazard and should never be swallowed or inserted into any part of the body. Swallowed magnets can stick together across intestines causing serious infections or death. Seek immediate medical attention if magnets are swallowed.
REQUIRED SAFE OPERATING RESTRICTIONS
⚠ It is critical that your bow is set up and functioning within the bow’s required safe operating restrictions prior to use. Storm Archery recommends that only a Certified Retailer setup and inspect your archery equipment to ensure that it is set up within the bow’s safe operating restrictions.
⚠ Base Connection To Bow Riser – It is recommended to connect the Storm Grip Base to the bow riser following the bow manufacturer instruction, Hoyt bow grip connect with screws, Mathews bow grip connect with adhesive, use hair dryer to heat and loosen glue before removal of grip off the bows riser and PSE must be connected to bow riser with a high strength adhesive of minimum 75 lb. per square inch while using caution and protecting your skin, DO NOT USE FAST GLUE, FLATCHING GLUE, HOT GLUE OR OTHER GENERIC GLUE AS THEY ARE INCAPABLE OF PERFORMING THE NEEDED STRENGTH AND CREATE AN EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS CONDITIONS THAT CAN RESULT IN GRIP DISMANTLING WHILE IN USE AND HIGH VELOCITY IMPACT THAT CAN CAUSE SEVERE INJURY OR EVEN DEATH TO ARCHER AND OTHERS.
⚠ Wedges Connection to Base – The Storm Wedges snap in and can be easily pulled out by pulling from the bottom nock away from the bow.
⚠ Usage and Maintenance – excessive changes of the wedge’s angles may create high wear and tear behind normal use, it is recommended to rinse the wedges with soap and water or rubbing alcohol in a timely manner to clean grease residue buildup.
⚠ Movement – Do not shoot your bow if there is movement between the bow riser and the Base and have it checked by a Certified Retailer before returning to shoot.
⚠ Cracks and Defects - Do not shoot your bow if you notice any cracks or defects to the Storm Grip, shooting with a cracked or defected equipment may cause severe injury and even death, have it checked by a Certified Retailer before returning to shoot
⚠ Grip Tape Use – Grip Tape (Skateboard Grip) strips are sold by Storm Archery to allow maximum grip and prevent slippage of the hand on the Grip. Usage of Grip Tape may cause injuries and skin irritation or other injuries, while many professional archers use Grip Tape, it may not be suitable for everyone.
⚠ Grip Tape Wrapping – Exercise caution when using Grip Tape Wrapping (Tennis / Hockey Tape) and make sure either screws are tight, or adhesive is fully cured.
⚠ Max Load / Bow Draw Weight – Storm Grip are made with high impact materials and can sustain high load, up to 60lb draw weight on target bows and up to 98lb draw weight on hunting bow.
